So it was about 8:20 or so. I finally turned off all the lights and effects several minutes earlier. The front porch was totally black. I was relaxing in the living room chair with a glass of wine when the door bell chimed.
So I clambered out of my chair and opened the door. There was a family with three little princesses about five years old.
I apologized because we were out of candy (that was one of our objectives). But the princesses couldn't accept that. Everyone knows Everyone gets candy on Halloween! So they each reached into their candy bag to give me a handful of candy.
